Tonight I’ll introduce you to veterans from Cologne who’ve been playing their music since 1979, the Zeltinger Band, founded by Jürgen (vocals), Ralf & Peter (guitars), Norbert (bass), Jaki (drums) and Arno (guitar/vocals) and the first album De Plaat (Ariola) was recorded live at the Roxy & Bunker and Müngersdorfer Stadion was released as single and became their first hit. Twelve rockin’ songs with some witty lyrics provide pleasant entertainment and I must confess, I was skeptical when buying but I can guarantee you this album kicks decently, just the perfect sound after a long hard day at work and should you have the opportunity to get the LP, buy!
