Being labeled as “street rock” since they debuted, NYC’s Vanity is a wet dream for the working-class punk or any fan of punk influenced rock coming out of the UK in the late 70’s. Their demo was a solid effort for a debut, Vein In Life and it’s follow up 7″ were perfect Oi! punk statements that Vanity intended to produce. Their newest LP is leaning more towards glam rock influences that’s performed flawlessly and leaves me believing that this band can produce whatever sound they want and undoubtedly deliver the goods.
