Punk band from Portland, Oregon, United States.
Formed in 2002 by Doug Burns (lead vocals and guitar) and Colin Grigson (bass) after the split of The Speds (1999-2002).
The first line-up included also Muslim (guitar) and Skeeter Joplin (drums) and recorded the “Down On Today” demo (reissued on vinyl in 2008) and the first 7" “Lead Pill”.
Muslim and Skeeter left the group and were replaced by Ian Kashani on guitar and Brett Ramone on drums, successively replaced by Mike Warm of The Minds.
With this definitive line-up the band recorded the critically acclaimed “So What’s Left Now" Album in 2004 and two other 7"s, and toured in U.S., Canada, and Europe in 2004 and 2005 before disband in the Summer of 2005.
After The Observers broke up Grigson, Warm and Kashani founded Defect Defect.
