The new album by Madrid punk rockers ‘Sugus’ is a spin kick , whirlwind uppercut straight to the substantia nigra, releasing shock waves in to your ventral tegmental; resulting in an adrenaline rush that will bring you to your knees, only to send you running around in circles like a rabid dog.
‘1995’ is 14 tracks full of catchy vocal hooks and killa guitar riffs with a rhythm section that charges along at a breakneck speed. Be warned you may need to visit your doctor with a serious case of exhaustion after listening to these dudes; I would prescribe you listen twice daily with plenty of whisky.
‘Sugus’ have a really rad 90’s Fat Wreck/Epitaph feel to their sound, It kinda of sounds like Ryan from ‘Off with Their Heads’ took a shed ton of speed and joined ‘Screeching Weasel’.
