Good morning, I hope those of you in the UK have remembered to put your clocks back. Confuses the hell out of me every time. Anyway, here are some more sounds to brighten your Sunday, whatever time it is. Many thanks to all contributors.

Hate Drugs – Isotope: from their recently released album Tsunami Soul II. “Central California-based HATE DRUGS was founded in the summer of 2014 by David Caploe with the release of the EP, Rough Daze. The other members (Josiah Caploe, Norman Lee, Adrian Diaz and John Irwin IV) joined the band shortly after and together released two more EPs, Anna Grahm (2015) and Beach Weekend (2016), which garnered hundreds of thousands of online listens. After a few West Coast tours, the band started production on their debut album in late 2016.”

Fond of Rudy – To Be Mine: “Brighton/London based indie-pop quartet Fond of Rudy continue to work their craft and display a musical versatility with new single To Be Mine. In contrast to the group’s previous offering ‘L O V E’, a sweetened downtempo cut of reflection and vulnerability, the track is a shorter but still sweet pop package of driving rhythms and memorable hooks. To support the release the band will play a number of dates scattered around the UK in the next two months with gigs in Brighton, London, Liverpool and Manchester.”

Stars in Coma – Subtraction Exercises: “Since its formation in 2006, André Brorsson and his indie pop project Stars in Coma has been able to harness his multicoloured tendencies into a pop-infused psychedelic sound that dabbles in rock, disco and funk, peppered with his own unique idiosyncrasies. The Malmö, Sweden-based project has put out eight full length albums, several EPs, and toured Europe relentlessly, where they’ve built a solid reputation performing alongside heavyweight bands like The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, Love is All, Spearmint, Cats on Fire, and Azure Blue.”

Sego – Sucker / Saint: “This is the 2nd single released from Sego’s newest batch of tunes recorded with Dave Newfeld (Broken Social Scene). Following up last month’s Whatever Forever, which has been crushing it on Spotify so far (139k streams, featured on 5 top alt/indie playlists). The band headlined The Echo in LA … and will be supporting Ok Go at their sold-out SF Fillmore show on 11/2.”

GGOOLLDD – The Way That I Feel: “Latest single off GGOOLLDD’s upcoming EP TEETH, out 12/1. The band are just off their North American headlining tour and have announced a run of west coast dates supporting The Sounds this Nov, ahead of a massive NYE show @ Turner Ballroom in Milwaukee.”

Jamie Cruickshank – I Can See Totterdown: (Had to include this as I used to live in Totterdown – Ed.). “Debut single from Jamie Cruickshank. Written and performed by Jamie Cruickshank. Recorded and produced by Jed Taylor, Jamie Cruickshank and Oscar Denyer in Bristol and Hatfield. Mastered by Shawn Joseph at Optimum. Violin by Annalise Lam. String arrangement, cello and additional recording by George Cooke. Backing vocals by Anna Bailward. Photograph by Carolin Weinkopf.”

Forced Random – Discipline (When You Collapse): “London-based Forced Random shares two new singles. You can check out new track Get On via Impose Week in Pop. Oliver Girdler explains that the song is about “dealing with things moving forward and not standing still.” You can read more in an exclusive interview and listen to the single here.  Also head over to Atwood Magazine to check out Discipline (When You Collapse), who describe the track as “a comforting vessel to all who listen.” Stay tuned for details on the forthcoming debut LP from Forced Random, due out next year.”

wearedante – Rose: “On 27th October 2017 Dante released the first single, Rose, from the forthcoming sophomore LP, I Wear your Weight with Mine. The track was produced by Andy Monaghan of Frightened Rabbit, and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana’s Nevermind). The track sees the Scottish indie band burst back on the scene with a dark, high-energy track, that has echoes of The National and Interpol, whilst further showcasing the band’s talent for songwriting and depth of lyrical content.”

Satellite Citi – Undead:Satellite Citi are an alt-rock two piece band … from Los Angeles, California. Anna Gevorkian (vocals/drums) and Shaunt Sulahian (guitars/backing vocals) are successful in pushing forth elements of multiple genres to create a truly unique and dynamic realm of sound… Undead showcases the band’s use of composing music to bring people together and help those in a time of need. The inspiring music video for this single, directed by Powell Robinson and Patrick Young, follows a despondent LGBTQ youth after they’ve been kicked out of their home and constantly harassed by their peers. The video takes an unexpected turn and shows Satellite Citi joining forces with the youth and defeating every metaphor in their path, united as a team.”

GOLDN WOLF – Lone Wolf: “Check out Seattle’s own G O L D N W O L F. Bringing a fresh brand of anthemic rock n roll, the band aims to break the mould and unleash their unique brand to the world. The band was formed in 2016, when Austin Robert (formally of Girl on Fire), Nicholas Wiggins (formally of Aiden) and Jake Jones (formally of New Years Day) wanted to start a fresh outfit that could bring life to a new generation of music. Not only to appeal to their broad spectrum of already devoted listeners, but to release something from their own creativity that resides where there are no wrong answers.

The Rebel Light – Where Did All The Love Go: “In the spirit of keeping those good vibes rolling, I would love to send you our brand new music video for our song Where Did All The Love Go. If trippy psychedelic vibes is your thing then this is your jam. Also, KCSN in Los Angeles and EQX in Vermont just added Where Did All The Love Go into rotation. Both stations play some of the best damn tunes on FM radio, So naturally, we were pretty excited to hear that our song has been added to their playlists.”

Dutch Party – Now and Later: “Indie alt pop outfit Dutch Party have just released the new video, Now and Later via Noisey. Dutch Party has received critical and commercial acclaim with features in Billboard, Pigeons and Planes and Fader among others…Originally hailing from Twin Peaks in San Francisco, Ken Franklin started writing and recording music after he discovered a recording booth in a small closet beneath the stairs of his parents house, that had been hidden for decades behind a wall of boxes. Inside was a reel-to-reel tape machine, an echo box, and two guitars which Franklin soon used to experiment with different sounds and sonic textures to create his own songs.”
