No Comment were a four-piece powerviolence band from North Hollywood, California that were around from 1987 to 1993. They are considered one of the earliest and most influential bands in the genre, thanks to a string of incredible 7″‘s they put out (the most notable one being 1992’s Downsided). They, along with bands like Spazz, Crossed Out, Infest, and Man Is The Bastard (who vocalist Andrew Beattie would later join) are absolute essentials in defining the head-splitting sound of powerviolence, and their discography compilation (available below) is a must-have for people even remotely into this style of hardcore.
