Christ - The Album was recorded and mixed at Southern Studios, London, between July 1981 and February 1982
Well Forked - But Not Dead: The live recording was made on a 4 track machine on the 9th June, 1981 at the 100 Club, London. Heart-throb Of The Mortuary and I Can't Stand It were our first efforts in a studio, a small 4 track in Soho, made in summer 1977. Heart-throb was later played on some pirate radio show, the name of which none of us can remember, and it is from that show that this track has been taken. The end of Securicor and beginning of I Can't Stand It are from a cassette recording of a gig we did at the Action Space Drill Hall, London on No. 16th 1977. The insert tapes, Arlington 73, etc., were made throughout the period that we were recording and mixing the studio album
The overall package was designed at Exitstencil Press
On 'Well Forked - But Not Dead' two tracks merge into one a few times creating 19 tracks on the actual CD rather than 25 that appears on the artwork
Nearly identical to this release except for different artwork & CAT #'s
Made in France.
