Battletorn was a three piece formed in NYC in 2004, this line-up released a couple singles, an LP, and toured the US in summer of 2005. In late 2005 the band became a two piece (William/Omid), and toured/released music/played shows through fall of 2010. Battletorn was inactive from 2011-2013, but played a 10th anniversary show in NYC on Feb 8, 2014 which featured sets by both line-ups. Since then they've played two more shows: one in 2016 (again, with both line-ups), and one in 2020 (with the two-man line-up). Live shows are played if/when possible.
